A Golf Tradition Lives In Las Vegas Las Vegas, NV - 5/27/2004 - You’ve seen them on the PGA Tour and in the movies, but the luxury of playing a round of golf with a caddie or forecaddie is something most golfers will probably never experience, unless they play The Royal Links Golf Club or the Stallion Mountain Country Club in Las Vegas. Both of these championship courses require each group to use the services of a forecaddie. And they’ll give you the yardages so you know exactly what to hit, and they’ll take care of all the little housekeeping things that are normally up to the players.” Forecaddies are Independent Contractors, and like many people in the Las Vegas hospitality field, they rely heavily on the generosity of the people they serve for the customary $25 per golfer in gratuities. For serious golfing situations, Forecaddies are defined as an “Outside Agency.” That is any agency not part of the match or, in stroke play, not part of the competitor’s side.
